Start installing the Cygwin from http:\/\/www.cygwin.com\/\nWhen prompted accept all the defaults to download from the internet > Accept the install directory C:cgywin64 > Install for All users > Set the local Package Directory to the Desktop > Internet = Direct Connection > Choose a Download site > Next.\n<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
Select the Expand net as packages.
Click and install the OpenSSH and Rsync.
In expanding shells> select bash to install > and complete the installation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Follow the steps to perform the Rsync operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
rsync \/cygdrive\/c\/users\/Owner\/Pictures\/ -av -e ssh xyz@192.168.1.10:\/var\/files\/ImageSync\/<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
Whereas the  \/cygdrive\/c\/users\/Owner\/Pictures\/ files are located in window machine and \/var\/files\/imagesync\/ files are located in the Linux machine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
