Before securing a domain with a Lets Encrypt certificate and ensure the domain name is identified with a public Ip address of Plesk server from the internet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. First, log into the Plesk.<\/strong><\/li>
  2. Then go to Domains <\/strong>and select the domain that you want to secure. Click hosting settings<\/strong>.<\/li>
  3.  Ensure that SSL\/TLS<\/strong> support is enabled in the hosting setting page.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    4. Get back to the domains dashboard and then click on to the SSL\/TLS certificates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Then select the appropriate one from the given option. Recommend to select :<\/li>
    • Include a www. Subdomain for the domain and each domain alias.<\/li>
    • Secure webmail on this domain\u00a0<\/li>
    • Assign the certificate to the mail domain.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      • Click “Get it free<\/strong>“. The SSL certificate from Let’s encrypt will generate and secure the domain. The certification is valid for 90 days and will be auto-renewed by the Encrypt extensions.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        First, you need to\u00a0purchase the SSL certification<\/strong>\u00a0for your website, or you can choose the free certificate provided by the Lets Encrypt (follow the instructions below).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • Go to Domain<\/strong> > example.com >SSL Certificates, fill the fields and click the Request<\/strong> button. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
          • log into the Plesk\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>
          • Go to the Domains<\/strong> > example.com >SSL \/TLS certificates > Advanced setting.<\/li>
          • On the SSL\/TLS certification page, add your certification.<\/li>
          • If the SSL certificate is stored in a single *.crt file.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            \u00a0Click on the\u00a0Browse\u00a0<\/strong>and select a certificate file. Then click on the\u00a0upload certificate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            • If the SSL certificate is stored in the form of *.key and *.crt files.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

              Click on\u00a0Add SSL\/TLS\u00a0<\/strong>Certificate and select the\u00a0Upload the certificate files<\/strong>\u00a0section and upload the files. The private key and both certificates contain a *.pem file in your certificate, check it by opening the *.pem file in any separate text editor. Try to upload it twice, both the private key and certificate and then click\u00a0on the Upload certificate<\/strong>\u00a0once it finished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              Click Add SSL\/TLS Certificate and scroll down to Upload the certificate as text and then paste the certificate and the private key files into the corresponding fields. Click Upload certificate<\/strong> once you finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
