To confirm this<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">sudo apt-add-repository universe\nsudo apt-get update<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Setup a fully qualified domain name for the server (FQDN)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">hostnamectl set-hostname server.example.com<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Next we have to add Jitsi Meet repository in the server by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">curl https:\/\/download.jitsi.org\/jitsi-key.gpg.key | sudo sh -c 'gpg --dearmor &gt; \/usr\/share\/keyrings\/jitsi-keyring.gpg'\necho 'deb [signed-by=\/usr\/share\/keyrings\/jitsi-keyring.gpg] https:\/\/download.jitsi.org stable\/' | sudo tee \/etc\/apt\/sources.list.d\/jitsi-stable.list &gt; \/dev\/null\nsudo apt-get update<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are using a firewall then we need to allow these ports in the firewall<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">sudo ufw allow 80\/tcp<br>sudo ufw allow 443\/tcp<br>sudo ufw allow 4443\/tcp<br>sudo ufw allow 10000\/udp<br>sudo ufw allow 22\/tcp<br>sudo ufw enable<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"bkmrk-check-the-firewall-s\">Check the firewall status by<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">sudo ufw status verbose<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Install Jitsi Meet<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">sudo apt-get install jitsi-meet<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"bkmrk-in-this-step-they-wi\">In this step, they will ask for hostname and SSL (if you are using paid SSL then you can give the location of cert and key file, or otherwise you can generate let&#8217;s encrypt free SSL).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"bkmrk-we-can-access-the-ji\">Once installation completed, we can access the Jitsi Meet application by<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\"><a href=\"https:\/\/server.skynats.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/server.example.com<\/a><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"bkmrk-test-the-setup-by-cr\">Test the setup by creating a new meeting and invite someone to this meeting to ensure that setup is working properly. In order to set this Jitsi Meet server work with the mobile application, change the server URL option in the Jitsi Meet app installed on your phone from google play to the https:\/\/server.example.com.
